Understand What This Page Covers

This page describes only the mechanisms that were verified when this site was built. It does not describe general practice or any feature beyond what is listed here. Where a practice is not mentioned below, this site does not perform it.

  • The site is a set of static files served by a content delivery network, which handles the technical delivery of every request as the hosting provider.
  • Pages are self-contained: every file a page needs, including locally embedded fonts, comes from this domain, so nothing is fetched from an outside host while a page is displayed.

Know What Is Recorded on Arrival From a Search Engine

A small set of visit data is recorded, but only when a visitor arrives from a search engine. This uses a first-party visit beacon that sends data to an edge analytics endpoint kept on the same domain.

  • What is collected: the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine, the text of a clicked outbound button, and the country the content delivery network reports for the request — nothing more precise about location.
  • When it triggers: only for a visit arriving from a search engine; visits from other sources do not generate this record.
  • What it is used for: counting page views and clicks on outbound buttons, for the operator's own traffic counting, and nothing else.
  • Where it is kept: in the operator's own logs, on the same domain — not shared with an outside analytics service.

Know What the Cookie and Session Flag Do

Two small, short-lived mechanisms support the counting described above. Neither is used for identification or advertising.

  • One first-party cookie is set only for a visit arriving from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts up to one hour, and is used only so that a later click on an outbound link can be linked back to that search engine.
  • One session view flag is kept in the browser for the current session only, so that a single page view is counted once. No persistent identifier and no other browser storage is set.

Know What Happens When You Follow an Outbound Link

This site links to third-party sites. Following one of these links uses a first-party outbound redirect: the link first goes to a path on this domain, then redirects to the partner site.

  • Stored visitor data on this domain is not shared with the partner during that redirect.
  • Once the redirect completes, the partner site receives the request directly from the visitor's browser and keeps its own separate record of it.
  • This site does not control, and this page makes no claim about, the privacy practices of any partner site reached this way.

Know What This Site Does Not Do

This site has no forms, no third-party analytics, no external subresources, and no contact channels. It collects no names, e-mail addresses, account identifiers or payment details, has no login, no registration and no user account, and does not retain personal data about an individual visitor. It does not share visitor data with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services, and it uses no third-party or advertising cookies. Because of these absences, this site asks for no consent, no account and no personal detail. If you follow a link to a partner site, treat it as a separate destination with its own separate record-keeping, and avoid submitting personal data anywhere you are not certain how it will be handled.
